Title

An Ordinance to Amend Sections 5.29.6 and 5.29.7, and Add a New Section 5.29.8, of Chapter 55 (Unified Development Code) of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor (Code Requirements of Site Plans and Area Plans) (Ordinance No. ORD-20-18)

Memorandum

Amendments are proposed to the Unified Development Code to streamline the presentation of information required to be shown on area plans and all types of site plans.

The current Unified Development Code language is redundant and sometimes confusing. The proposed amendments do not change any code requirements; they merely present the requirements more clearly to benefit the end user. The attached ordinance was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission following a public hearing on February 4, 2020.
