The event will start at 10:00 A.M. and end at 7:00 P.M. with the additional time to be used for set-up and break-down of the event. The streets will open as soon as safely possible after the event.

The following streets are requested for closure:

The sponsor, the University of Michigan-MUSIC Matters organization, is presenting a day of festivities including concerts throughout the afternoon. The festivities will showcase the best of the University of Michigan and will feature an assortment of student groups from the innovation, arts, sustainability, music and social justice communities on campus. The day will include performances from local artists, a product launch zone, interactive and engaging exhibits from student groups and food from local trucks. This is an annual event and has the support of the State Street District.

Notification of the street closure will be through the City's website and GovDelivery, press releases and resources through the University of Michigan at least one week prior to the event.

The sponsor agrees to obtain all necessary permits, to provide evidence of proper liability insurance as required, to comply with all City and state regulations governing the use of the streets, and will reimburse the City for all event expenses.
