Resolution to Approve University Inn Development Agreement, 2424 E. Stadium (CPC approved the site plan: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will enable execution of the University Inn Development Agreement.
Petition Summary:
* The Site Plan proposes to construct a 4-story residential building totaling approximately 215,000 sq ft and housing 185 dwelling units. An existing 7,716 sq ft office building facing E Stadium remains. Primary access to the site is off E Stadium and Manchester Road which leads to approximately 185 below grade parking spaces. This development contains commercial and office zoning and approval is subject to combining three parcels.
* A development agreement has been prepared for a $115,625 Parks contribution.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 3, 2022, approved the site plan and recommends approval of this development agreement.

Whereas, The Ann Arbor City Planning Commission, on August 3, 2022, approved the 2424 E. Stadium site plan petition; and
Whereas, A development agreement has been prepared to address the Parks contribution;
RESOLVED, That City Council approve the University Inn Development Agreement, substantially in the form of that attached, dated August 19, 2022;
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to sign the University Inn Development Agreement after approval as to substance by the City Administrator and approval as to form by the City Attorney; and
