Resolution to Accept a Water Main Easement at 2457 S. State Street from Stellar Hospitality A2 LLC (8 Votes Required)

Memorandum

This easement is granted in accordance with the site plan for the Homewood Suites Planned Project Site Plan approved by Council on July 2, 2018, R-18-279.

 

This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City.

 

Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Body

Whereas, Stellar Hospitality A2 LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, is the owner of property commonly known 2457 S. State Street, by virtue of deed recorded in Liber 5215, Page 1 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and

 

Whereas, Stellar Hospitality A2 LLC has signed a grant of easement for water mains and appurtenances as shown and described on the attached map:

 

Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of Section 4, Town 3 South, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence N06°26’00”W 139.93 feet along the centerline of the Old State Street to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N06°26’00”W 40.16 feet; thence N88°40’00”E 212.62 feet; thence S01°20’00”E 52.09 feet; thence S88°40’00”W 40.00 feet; thence N01°20’00”W 12.09 feet; thence S88°40’00”W 169.05 feet, returning to the Point of Beginning.

 

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
