Resolution to Approve a General Services Contract with RACM, LLC, DBA Servpro of Saginaw for As-Needed Cleaning and Sanitation Services for Sanitary and Storm Sewer Backups ITB No. 4610 ($150,000.00 for three years)
Memorandum
Attached for your approval is a resolution authorizing a three-year general services contract with RACM, LLC, DBA Servpro of Saginaw not-to-exceed $150,000.00, with an estimated annual cost of $50,000.00, for as-needed cleaning and sanitation services for sanitary and storm sewer backups.

The City of Ann Arbor contracts for basement cleaning and sanitation services after a sanitary or storm sewer backup that results from a blockage or a surcharge in City-owned and maintained sewers. The offered services include sanitizing and debris removal, but does not include repair or restoration of the property.

ITB No. 4610, Cleaning and Sanitation Services, was advertised on the City's Website and on the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website. One (1) bid was received and publicly opened on December 27, 2019. RACM, LLC, DBA Servpro of Saginaw was the only respondent and was found to be a responsible bidder.

Budget and Fiscal Impact: Funding is available in the annual operations and maintenance budgets of the Sewage Disposal System Fund and Stormwater Fund and in subsequent budgets if so approved by council.

RACM, LLC, DBA Servpro of Saginaw complies with the City's Non-Discrimination, Conflict of Interest, and Living Wage ordinances.
