Attached is a resolution to approve the distribution of the draft The Treeline - Allen Creek Urban Trail Plan Master Plan to adjoining jurisdictions.
Project Summary:
* The draft plan makes non-motorized transportation recommendations for the Allen Creek Corridor between the Argo Cascades and Stimson/State Streets.
* The development of the draft plan included extensive opportunities for public and stakeholder involvement.
* The distribution of the draft plan is consistent with State law that requires the distribution of a draft master plan document prior to holding public hearings.
* During this comment period,City Council can also provide any feedback or comment to be considered prior to development of the final draft, which will be forwarded by the Planning Commission to City Council for approval or rejection.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 15, 2017, recommended that City Council approve the distribution of the draft, The Treeline - Allen Creek Urban Trail Master Plan as a component of the City of Ann Arbor Master Plan.
