Title
Motion to Reconsider the December 4, 2017 Vote to Postpone First Reading of the Inglis House Historic District Ordinance to January 8, 2018 (File 17-1769)
Memorandum
The purpose of this reconsideration is to bring back and then amend the motion to postpone so that City Council may vote on first reading of the ordinance at this meeting (being December 18, 2017). City Council has received proposed deed restrictions between the University and the prospective purchaser of the Inglis House to be considered in lieu of the historic district. The purchaser has stated that the purchase, including these deed restrictions, has been escrowed, and that completion of the purchase is contingent upon City Council voting on and rejecting the proposed historic district ordinance at its December 18, 2017 meeting. The purchaser has stated that if City Council approves the district or does not vote on the district on December 18, the purchase will not be completed.
This reconsideration will allow City Council to consider the ordinance at its December 18, 2017 meeting in light of these proposed deed restrictions.

I move for a reconsideration of the December 4, 2017 Vote to Postpone First Reading of the Inglis House Historic District Ordinance to January 8, 2018. I voted on the prevailing side, which postponed first reading until January 8, 2018.
