Resolution to Accept a Sidewalk Easement at 2965 Kimberley Road from Marc Maxey (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
This easement is for an existing sidewalk along Packard Road for which the City did not have an easement. The property was submitted to Planning for an administrative land transfer at which time staff determined that the easement was needed. This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, Mark Maxey is the owner of property commonly known as 2965 Kimberley Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, described at Liber 5112, Page 985 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, Marc Maxey has signed a grant of easement for sidewalks, described as:
Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Lot 10 of Kimberly Hills Subdivision being in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 3, T3S, R6E, Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan; thence S00°59’00”W 706.09 feet; thence N50°28’01”W 10.00 feet along the Northerly line of Packard Road (66’ wide) to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the Northerly line of Packard Road (66’ wide) N50°28’01”W 23.00 feet; thence N39°31’59”E 2.50 feet; thence S50°28’01”E 23.00 feet; thence S39°31’59”W 2.50 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Being a part of the SW 1/4 of Section 3, T3S, R6E, Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan.
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
