Resolution to Accept an Easement for Public Access at 2502 Packard Street from McKinley, Inc. (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
This easement is required as part of the site plan for the Packard Square development, now known as The George, which was approved on May 2, 2011, R-11-169. This easement provides public access to a private open space within the property.
This easement is conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, Packard Square LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, is the owner of property commonly known as 2502 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, described at Liber 5057, Page 960 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, McKinley, Inc., a Michigan corporation, through its Representative, Matthew Mason, the Court Appointed Receiver for Packard Square LLC in the matter of Can IV Packard Square LLC V. Packard Square LLC, Washtenaw Trial Court, Business Court Division, Michigan (Case No. 16-990-CB), has signed a grant of easement for public access to a private open space, described as:
A PROPOSED PARK EASEMENT BEING PART OF OUTLOT A, "SMOKLER HUTZEL SUBDIVISION", OF PART OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 4, AND PART OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 9, TOWN 3 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST, CITY OF ANN ARBOR, WASHTENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN LIBER 17 OF PLATS, PAGES 41, 42, AND 43, WASHTENAW COUNTY RECORDS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS:
