Memorandum
Attached for your consideration is a request from the State Street District to close the following streets for Game Watch on September 7, September 21 and October 5, 2024 two hours prior to each game and ending one hour after each game:

By creating a safe experience and fun tailgate atmosphere, the aim is to enhance the downtown experience for residents and visitors while providing an affordable option to watch the games with the community during an exciting post-championship season. Planned giveaways and interactive experiences will engage the crowd and create a memorable game day.

The sponsor will submit an application for approval from the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission for temporary sales, service and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the defined areas pursuant to the M.L.C.C. regulations.
