Resolution to Appoint Two Members to the Ann Arbor - Ypsilanti SmartZone LDFA Board

Whereas, The appointment of members of the Ann Arbor - Ypsilanti SmartZone LDFA Board is a prerogative of the City Council;
Whereas, The terms of Marilyn Katz-Pek and Thomas Kinnear are expiring on June 30, 2008, creating two vacancies on the Board; and
Whereas, Theresa Carroll and Lisa M. Kurek have expressed an interest in serving on the Board and would accept an appointment effective July 1, 2008;
RESOLVED, That Theresa Carroll, 1414 Hatcher Crescent and Lisa M. Kurek, 2720 Holyoke Lane, be appointed to the Ann Arbor - Ypsilanti SmartZone LDFA Board for a four-year term beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and expiring June 30, 2012; and
RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Ms. Carroll and Ms. Kurek of the appointments.
