Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc. ($196,370.00) for the construction engineering services for the Nixon Road-Huron Parkway Improvement Project.
On February 5, 2007 Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc. (OHM) was awarded a contract to complete the study and begin the design of the new intersection at Nixon Road and Huron Parkway. On September 27, 2007 their contract was amended to expand the project scope and include the design of the reconstruction of Nixon Road and Huron Parkway north of Plymouth Road. The project design is now complete.
The Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc. is to provide the necessary construction engineering services during the construction phase of the Nixon Road-Huron Parkway Improvement project. We expect construction to begin in late April of 2009 and continue through August of 2009.
Funds for the requested services are available in the project budget for the Huron Parkway-Nixon Road Improvement Project. OHM received Human Rights approval on May 16, 2008.
