Title
An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 55, Rezoning of 7 Park Properties (Evergreen Park, Hilltop Nature Area, Ponds Park, Riverside Park, Winewood Thaler Park, Burr Oak Park No. 2, and Iroquois Park) from R1C (Single-Family Dwelling District), PUD (Planned Unit Development District) and C3 (Fringe Commercial District) to PL (Public Land District) (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 7 Yeas and 0 Nays) (Ordinance No. ORD-08-40)
Memorandum
This ordinance will rezone these seven properties to PL (Public Land District).  They have been identified as properties currently owned and used by the City for park purposes, but do not contain the appropriate PL zoning classification.  The proposed zoning is consistent with the permitted uses and intent of the PL district.  The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of November 21, 2008, recommended approval of the rezonings.
