Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for public utilities from the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, for a water main that is located in the northwest corner of the school's property adjacent to Pontiac Street.   
 
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
 
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, is the owner of record of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan;
 
 Whereas, Board of Trustees of The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor on October 10, 2007 authorized the delivery of a perpetual easement to the City for the construction and maintenance of public utilities; and
 
Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, has delivered an easement to the City for public utilities located in the northwest corner of the school's property on Pontiac Street, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
 
Variable Width Water Main Easement - (Ann Arbor Public Schools, Northside School Property)
 
A variable width water main easement located in part of the Northwest ¼ of Section 21, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, being described as follows:
 
BEGINNING at the Southwest Corner of Lot 1 of the Assessor's Plat No. 35, as recorded in Liber 10 of Plats, Page 32 Washtenaw County Records; Thence N 87°-08'-30" E 319.15 Feet along the Southerly Line of Said Assessor's Plat No. 35; Thence S 15°- 26'-01" W 34.33 Feet; Thence S 64°-38'-30" W 19.82 Feet; Thence S 87°-10'-45" W 258.45 Feet; Thence S 37°-57'-30"W 36.41 Feet; Thence S 61°-07'- 33" W 22.02 Feet; Thence N 75°-37'-59" W 12.90 Feet to The Easterly Line of Pontiac Street (66 ft. wd); Thence N 15°-27'-30" E 77.32 Feet along said Easterly line of Pontiac Street, To The PLACE OF BEGINNING.  Containing 0.32 acres of land more or less.  Said easement being a part of the Northwest ¼ of Section 21, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, in the City of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a Part of the Following Described Parcel:
