Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to transfer funds in the amount of $61,781 from the Bandemer Park Fund (Fund 0025) fund balance to the 2007 Annual Local Street Resurfacing Program project budget for the paving of the Bandemer Park parking lot.
On April 16, 2007, City Council awarded a construction contract to Cadillac Asphalt, L.L.C. in the amount of $2,255,212.45 for the 2007 Annual Local Street Resurfacing Program. The project scope included the construction of a paved asphalt surface at the parking lot for Bandemer Park off of Barton Drive. This work was performed as part of the construction contract for the 2007 Annual Local Street Resurfacing Program, and was constructed during the 2007 construction season for a total cost of $61,781 (see attached cost summary).
The paving of the Bandemer Park parking lot was to be paid for from the FY08 budget for Fund 0025, as indicated in the attached Memorandum from the Parks and Recreation Services Unit, however, upon preparing the final project closure it was discovered that the transfer from the Bandemer Park Fund was never executed. We are now seeking approval to make the appropriate transfer and close the project.

Whereas, the scope of work for this contract included the construction a paved asphalt surface at the parking lot for Bandemer Park off of Barton Drive; and
Whereas, the paving of the Bandemer Park parking lot was performed as part of the construction contract for the 2007 Annual Local Street Resurfacing Program, and was constructed during the 2007 construction season for a total cost of $61,781.00;
RESOLVED, That $61,781.00 be transferred from the Bandemer Park Fund (Fund #0025) fund balance to the 2007 Annual Local Street Resurfacing Project Budget; and
RESOLVED, That the City Administrator be authorized to take the necessary administrative actions to implement this resolution.
