Resolution to Approve Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement with Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. for General Civil Engineering Services ($148,176.00)
Memorandum
This is to recommend approval of the attached resolution authorizing a second amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. (FTCH) for additional civil engineering services.

The original professional services agreement with FTCH was approved by City Council in June 2011 (see attached resolution R-11-227) for $85,000.00 plus $35,000.00 in contingencies to provide civil engineering support to the City of Ann Arbor Project Management Services Unit. FTCH is qualified to provide engineering services for this emergency repair project. FTCH has worked directly with UM on steam tunnel repairs and road work on East Huron Street extending from Zina Pitcher Plaza through Glen Avenue. FTCH has coordinated directly with UM AEC, UM Power Plant & Facilities, MDOT and the City on nearby work and has detailed knowledge of the underground utilities and unique...
