Memorandum
Attached for your review and action is Amendment No. 2 to General Services Agreement with The Davey Tree Expert Company (Davey) for routine street tree pruning and on-call general forestry services (A2-0000898).
On August 7, 2023, City Council approved Resolution R-23-283 approving a General Services Agreement with The Davey Expert Tree Company for routine street tree pruning and general forestry services. Staff have found the need for additional support for forestry maintenance activities and pruning for approved FY2024 Engineering construction projects.
Amendment No. 2 adds an additional funding amount of $295,050.00 to the contact (Article 5, COMPENSATION OF CONTRACTOR) to complete additional forestry maintenance activities and engineering project tree trimming for FY2024 construction projects.
The new contract total including this amendment shall not exceed $837,281.00.
Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding is available in the approved FY24 Stormwater Fund Operations and Maintenance Budget, Capital Project Budgets, or other funding sources as appropriate.
