City of Ann Arbor IT is replacing our firewalls for cybersecurity protection. Our existing firewalls need renewal of software maintenance and dynamic updates, and the manufacturer is offering purchase of new models at a lower cost than extending support on aging hardware.

Our firewalls are a key piece of our cybersecurity protection for the organization.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for the Palo Alto firewall network equipment is available in the FY2024 Information Technology Services Unit budget.

AmeriNet complies with the requirements of the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.
