Title
Resolution to Approve Grants of Easement for Electrical and Telecom Facilities Near the First and Washington Parking Structure (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
This resolution authorizes the granting of easements for electrical and telecom facilities that currently exist on a 16 foot by 29 foot City-owned parcel on the east side of the alley running North and South through Block 2 South, Range 2 East of the Original Plat of the Village (now City) of Ann Arbor. These facilities include a DTE transformer and other electrical facilities and telecom equipment. These facilities were installed around 2008 as part of a relocation of nearby existing facilities to allow construction of the First and Washington Parking Structure Project. A grant of easement to DTE and AT&T for these relocated facilities was specified as part of the project, however the easements have not yet been granted.
