City of Ann Arbor Election Commission Resolution to Establish Absent Voter Counting Boards and Receiving Boards for the Primary Election to be Held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, August 4, 2026

Body

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Election Commission was informed that a Primary Election will be held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 in all City wards; and  

 

Whereas, The City Clerk’s Office has determined that Absent Voter Count Boards will be needed for the tabulation of absentee ballots on August 4, 2026;

 

RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to five Absent Voter Counting Boards for the tabulation of absentee ballots of the August 4, 2026 Primary Election;

 

RESOLVED, That the Absent Voter Count Boards will be held at the Ann Arbor Election Center, 3021 Miller Road; and  

 

RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to twenty Receiving Boards at the Election Center and City Hall on Election Night to receive precinct returns, and early vote returns, as required under MCL 168.679a.
