Chair Carter called the meeting to order at 6:15 P.M.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA  
A motion was made by Green, seconded by Milgrom, that the  
Agenda be Approved as presented. On a voice vote, the Chair  
declared the motion carried.  
APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
A motion was made by Milgrom, seconded by Green, that the  
Minutes be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City  
Council due back on 6/15/2026. On a voice vote, the Chair declared  
the motion carried.

REPORT FROM THE CHAIR  
Chair Carter thanked the commission, city leadership, and community  
members for attending the commissions symposium. Chair Carter also  
shared that this would be here last commission meeting as the Chair of  
the commission. Chair Carter has completed two terms with the  
commission. The commission thanked Chair Carter for her service on  
the commission and in the Ann Arbor community. Chair Carter reported  
that the new Chair and Vice Chair of the commission is Mohammad  
Othman and Roderick Green.

2nd Annual Memorial Social Justice Symposium.  
Chief Anderson presented his program about his experiences in  
Ferguson following the death of Michael Brown, and a history of protests.  
Chief Anderson, explored the legacy of Ferguson and the impact of  
protest on modern policing and community relations. Audience  
members provided questions and comments for Chief Anderson at the  
end of his presentation. The commission also participated in the open  
discussion and provided their insight and thoughts during the dialogue.

Haynes moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Othman The Chair  
declared the meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.
