CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS LAND ACQUISITION  
A motion was made by Commissioner Boggs and seconded by  
Commissioner Schueller to enter Closed Session.  
Roll call vote taken to enter Closed Session. Passed upon  
unanimous vote.  
Motion made by Commissioner Schueller and seconded by  
Commissioner Buzzard to recommend City participation with  
Dexter Township in the acquisition of a conservation easement on  
the property identified in application ID 2026-01, approve a  
participation agreement with Dexter Township and the Washtenaw  
County Parks and Recreation Commission, and appropriate funds,  
not to exceed $173,400.00, from the Open Space and Parkland  
Preservation Millage proceeds. Motion passed upon unanimous  
vote.  
Motion made by Council member Malek and seconded by  
Commissioner Bloomer to recommend City participation with  
Legacy Land Conservancy in the acquisition of a conservation  
easement on the property identified in application ID 2026-03,  
approve a participation agreement with Legacy Land Conservancy  
and the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission, and  
appropriate funds, not to exceed $12,000.00, from the Open Space  
and Parkland Preservation Millage proceeds. Motion passed upon  
unanimous vote.  
Motion made by Commissioner Bloomer and seconded by  
Commissioner Buzzard to decline City acquisition of a  
conservation easement on the property identified in Application ID  
2026-02. Motion passed upon unanimous vote.
