CALL TO ORDER  
City Clerk Jacqueline Beaudry called the meeting of the City Election  
Commission to order at 3:02 p.m. in the Guy C. Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd  
Floor Council Chambers, 301 E. Huron Street.  
ROLL CALL  
Chief Deputy Clerk Sarah Alanis was also in attendance.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA  
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that  
the Agenda be approved. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the  
motion carried.  
PUBLIC COMMENT  
City Clerk Jacqueline Beaudry welcomed several U-M law students who  
were in attendance.  
APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that  
the Election Commission Meeting Minutes of October 17, 2025 be  
approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council by  
2/19/2026. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.  
NEW BUSINESS  
Election Commission  
Sponsors:  
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that  
the Resolution be recommended for approval to the City Council.  
On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried and the  
resolution was forwarded to the February 19 Council agenda.

A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that  
the Resolution be recommended for approval to the City Council.  
On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried and the  
resolution was forwarded to the February 19 Council agenda.  
City Clerk or Authorized Assistant  
A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Chair Beaudry, that  
the Resolution be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote,  
the Mayor declared the motion carried.  
UNFINISHED BUSINESS  
INFORMATION/UPCOMING BUSINESS  
City Clerk Beaudry updated the Election Commission on the Clerk's  
Office proposed budget impacts for the upcoming fiscal year.  
Chief Deputy Clerk Sarah Alanis noted that the deadline for a May  
special election was coming up on February 10, stating at this time,  
nothing was expected.  
An update was also provided on the status of the Election Center  
renovation.  
Confirm Election Commission Delegates  
The Election Commission decided to postpone acting on the  
confirmation of delegates until all voting members were in attendance.  
AAPS Construction for August 2026  
Chair Beaudry updated the Commission on the status of the Ann Arbor  
Schools construction projects, noting that they will need to secure  
temporary locations for several elementary school locations for the  
upcoming August 2026 Primary Election.  
ADJOURNMENT  
Seeing no further business before the Commission, the Chair  
declared the meeting adjourned at 3:23 p.m.
