A motion was moved by Commissioner Riggs and seconded by  
Commissioner Boggs that the resolution be approved by the  
Commission. Commissioner Bloomer abstained from the vote,  
otherwise the motion passed upon unanimous vote.

CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS LAND ACQUISITION  
A motion was made by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by  
Council Member Mallek to enter Closed Session.  
Roll call vote taken to enter Closed Session. Passed upon  
unanimous vote.  
A motion was made by Commissioner Buzzard and seconded by  
Commissioner Bently to recommend City participation with Scio  
Township in the acquisition of a conservation easement on the  
property identified in application ID 2026-04, approve a participation  
agreement with Scio Township, and appropriate funds, not to  
exceed $295,000.00, from the Open Space and Parkland  
Preservation Millage proceeds. Motion passed upon unanimous  
vote.  
A motion was made by Commissioner Armstrong and seconded by  
Commissioner Riggs to recommend City participation with  
Northfield Township in the acquisition of a conservation easement  
on the property identified in application ID 2023-01, approve a  
participation agreement with Northfield Township, and appropriate  
funds, not to exceed $50,400.00, from the Open Space and Parkland  
Preservation Millage proceeds. Motion passed upon unanimous  
vote.
