Resolution to Approve Schedule 9 to the Interagency Agreement for Collaborative Technology and Services for Backup and Recovery Services ($52,922.16)
Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution that authorizes a three-year commitment to Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) for backup and recovery services at an annual service cost of $17,640.72, beginning November 1, 2011. Under this agreement, the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority will be provided access to the shared City-County Avamar platform with the AATA’s backup and recovery services provided by the City of Ann Arbor staff.
Upon approval, this agreement will be attached as Schedule 9 to the Interagency Agreement for Collaborative Technology and Services between the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, and the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority.
The accompanying resolution authorizes the agreement between AATA, the City and Washtenaw County for the provision of services as described above.

Whereas, Washtenaw County, the City of Ann Arbor and Ann arbor Transportation Authority entered into a Interagency Agreement for Collaborative Technology and Services;
Whereas, The AATA has a need for data backup and recovery services;
Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County have the means necessary to provide the AATA with backup and recovery services;
Whereas, By entering into this agreement, AATA avoids having to expend its own capital for a similar investment, which would be needed given the amount of data currently under management by the AATA; and
