Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Scio Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1C (Single-Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Scio and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;

Whereas, Robert B. Ellis is the owner of said property; and

Whereas, It is the desire of Robert B. Ellis to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1947, as amended;

RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:

BEG AT N COR OF LOT 150, TH SOUTH 0 DEG 45' W 171.80 FT, TH S 69 DEG 03' E 56.19 FT, TH N 24 DEG 54' E 156.54 FT IN WLY LINE OF ROSE DRIVE, TH N 65 DEG 07' W 127.86 FT TO PL OF BEG, BEING PART OF LOT 149 & LOT 150 THE EVERGREENS.

And
