Memorandum

This Resolution seeks Council approval to issue a purchase order in an amount not to exceed Thirty-seven Thousand and no/100 dollars ($37,000.00) for legal services provided to 15^th Judicial District Court by the law firm of Butzel Long.

Whereas, The law firm of Butzel Long has previously provided legal services to 15^th Judicial District Court;

Whereas, Continued representation of the 15^th Judicial District Court by Butzel Long is in the best interest of the Court; and

Whereas, Butzel Long received Human Rights approval on June 14, 2011;

RESOLVED, That City Council approve the issuance of a purchase order to Butzel Long in the amount not to exceed $37,000.00; and

RESOLVED, That City Council authorize the Interim City Administrator to take all necessary administrative actions to implement this Resolution.
