Whereas, The appointment of members of the Environmental Commission is a prerogative of the City Council;

Whereas, There is currently a vacancy on the Environmental Commission due to the expiration of Anya Dale's term;

Whereas, Jamie Woolard has expressed an interest in serving on the Environmental Commission and would accept an appointment to the Commission effective Tuesday, February 22, 2011;

Whereas, There is an immediate need on the Environmental Commission for a new member; and

Whereas, Jamie Woolard was presented to City Council on June 6, 2011 for consideration for appointment to the City Environmental Commission;

RESOLVED, That Jamie Woolard be appointed to serve a three-year term on the Environmental Commission, filling a vacancy, beginning Tuesday, June 21, 2011 and expiring June 20, 2014; and

RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Mr. Woolard of this appointment.
