Parks Advisory Commission FY 2012 Budget and Fee Recommendations
Memorandum
At their April 26, 2011 meeting the Parks Advisory Commission (PAC) provided their recommendation regarding the FY 2012 Parks budget and FY 2013 Parks budget plan.
PAC voted unanimously to recommend approval of fee increases and new fees proposed by staff. Attached is the Resolution to Recommend Approval of FY 2012 Fee Adjustments and New Program Fees for Parks and Recreation Services.
PAC also passed two resolutions regarding the FY 12 Parks and Recreation Services budget proposed by the City Administrator.
One resolution pertains to the Community Services Area portion of the Parks budget (Parks and Recreation Services). PAC voted unanimously to recommend approval of this budget as prepared by the City Administrator.
The second resolution pertains to the Public Services Area (Park Operations) portion of the Parks budget. PAC did not recommend approval of this budget as prepared, and unanimously passed a resolution outlining their concerns.
