The attached resolution is contingent upon Council approval of Ordinance 23-25 at second reading on September 5, 2023. The City Charter allows summary publication of ordinances that are in excess of 500 words in length upon approval by City Council. Summary publication is appropriate due to the cost of publication and length of the ordinance. The ordinance will also be available publicly online.

RESOLVED, That the publication of Ordinance 23-25 shall be made by the following summary:
Ordinance 23-25 amends the TC1 Transit Corridor Zoning District (TC1) in Chapter 55 (Unified Development Code) of Ann Arbor City Code by: Amendment of Section 5.15.1 to add automobile, motorcycle, recreational vehicle, and equipment sales and rental, as well as automobile, truck, and construction equipment repair as Special Exception Uses in the TC1 Zoning District; moving TC1 development standards from Section 5.16.3 and Table 5.16-2 to Section 5.17; and, the rearrangement of some uses in Table 5.15-1. The effective date of Ordinance 23-25 is 10 days after publication.
