Resolution to Approve First Amendment to 2111 Packard Development Agreement

Memorandum

Approval of this resolution will amend the 2111 Packard Development Agreement to reduce the minimum size of solar energy panels (from 175 kW to 115 kW) on the rooftop of the proposed building.  The petitioner is unable to meet the original limit proposed.   The petitioner still intends to make the development fully electric. 

 

No other changes are proposed to the project, which was approved by the City Council on February 1, 2021.

Whereas, The Developer has received site plan approval for certain land in the City of Ann Arbor, described below and site planned as 2111 Packard;

 

Whereas, The Developer requests amendment to the Development Agreement to reduce the minimum size required for rooftop solar energy installation from 175 kW to 115 kW; and

 

Whereas, The City and Developer have agreed in principle to the attached amendment; 

 

RESOLVED, That City Council approves this first amendment to the 2111 Packard Development Agreement that was originally approved by City Council on February 1, 2021, substantially in the form attached; and

 

RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to sign the amendment after approval as to substance by the City Administrator and approval as to form by the City Attorney.
