Title
Resolution to Increase the Limit from $25,000.00 to $75,000.00 for City Administrator Authorization to Accept Grant Awards, Execute Grant Agreements, and Appropriate Awarded Grant Funds (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
On September 24, 2007, City Council approved #R-07-452, which streamlined the grant process by authorizing the City Administrator to accept grant proceeds and appropriate the funding of grants to the applicable service area budget in the amounts of $25,000.00 or less, for the life of the grant without regard to fiscal year.

This resolution requests that City Council authorize an increase to that authorized threshold amount from $25,000.00 to $75,000.00. This change will align with the City of Ann Arbor's Charter changes, approved by Ann Arbor voters on November 2, 2021, and subsequent Ordinance changes, which increased the limit for City Administrator approval of purchases of goods and services from $25,000.00 to $75,000.00

Budget/Fiscal Impact: There is no fiscal impact as a result of this change.
