Resolution to Revise 2023 Council Calendar
Body
Whereas, The City Council Rules require the City Council to establish a calendar of City Council meetings and work sessions in advance of each calendar year;
Whereas, City Council approved their 2023 Council Calendar by Resolution R-22-389 on December 5, 2022;
Whereas, The Council Rules require that regular meetings of City Council be held on the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers with exceptions for major holidays and elections;
Whereas, There is a desire to reschedule the City Council meeting scheduled on Monday, July 3, 2023 to Thursday, July 6, 2023, due to the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, July 4, 2023;
RESOLVED, That Council Rule 3 is suspended to allow for the regular meeting of City Council scheduled on Monday, July 3 to be held on Thursday, July 6 due to the Independence Day holiday; and
RESOLVED, The 2023 City Council Calendar is revised and approved as follows:
