Memorandum
Attached for your review and action is a resolution to appropriate and amend the Maintenance Facility Construction Project Budget for final closure; as well as fund closure (Fund #0004).

The Maintenance Facility Fund was established to account for the construction of the WR Wheeler Service Center, which houses the Public Works, Parks Maintenance, Fleet and Facilities personnel and equipment. The facility, which is located on Stone School Road in Pittsfield Township, had pedestrian connectivity obligations included in the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Final Site Plan. The final obligations of the PUD have been satisfied; therefore, the project and fund can be prepared for final closure.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: The Facility Construction was funded by a combination of debt issuance and internal fund contributions. Final closure is resulting in refunds to those contributing funds as follows:

The current project budget is insufficient to issue the refunds; resulting in the need to amend the project budget. Funding is available in the Maintenance Facility Fund unobligated fund balance.
