Resolution to Approve 2023 Council Calendar
Body
Whereas, The City Council Rules require the City Council to establish a calendar of City Council meetings and work sessions in advance of each calendar year;
Whereas, The Council Rules require that regular meetings of City Council be held on the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers with exceptions for major holidays and elections;
Whereas, There are five Mondays in January; and
Whereas, There is a desire to reschedule the December 12, 2022 Council Planning Session to Monday, January 30, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.;
RESOLVED, That Council Rule 3 is suspended to allow for the regular meetings to be held on the second and fourth Monday of January; and
RESOLVED, The 2023 City Council Calendar is approved as follows:
