City of Ann Arbor Election Commission Resolution to Establish Absent Voter Counting Boards and Receiving Boards for the General Election to be Held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, November 8, 2022

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Election Commission was informed that a General Election will be held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in all City wards; and
Whereas, The City Clerk’s Office has determined that Absent Voter Count Boards will be needed for the tabulation of absentee ballots on November 8, 2022;
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to five Absent Voter Counting Boards for the tabulation of absentee ballots of the November 8 General Election;
RESOLVED, That the Absent Voter Count Boards will be held at the Ann Arbor Justice Center, 4th Floor, 301 E. Huron Street; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to twenty Receiving Boards at City Hall on Election Night to receive precinct returns as required under MCL 168.679a.
