Election Inspector Appointments for the November 8, 2022 Election

Whereas, Michigan election law requires the Election Commission to establish the Receiving Board by resolution and must appoint the Receiving Board inspectors by resolution;
Whereas, Michigan election law requires the Election Commission to appoint election inspectors and designate a chairperson of each board;
Whereas, Michigan election law permits the Election Commission to establish and appoint an Absent Voter Counting Board and designate a chairperson of each board; and
Whereas, The City Clerk has prepared a list of recommended appointments;
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission adopts the slate of appointments recommended by the City Clerk, including election inspector and receiving board appointments, and the recommended chairperson designations for the November 8, 2022 election; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission authorizes the City Clerk to appoint election inspectors or chairpersons to fill vacant appointments resulting from refusal or failure to serve for the November 8, 2022 election.
