Memorandum

The attached resolution authorizes the summary publication of Ordinance No. 22-13, which was approved by City Council on August 15, 2022.  The City Charter allows summary publication of ordinances that are in excess of 500 words in length.  Approval of this resolution will reduce the cost of publishing due to the size of the ordinance.

RESOLVED, That the publication of Ordinance No. 22-13 shall be made by the following summary:

 

Ordinance No. 22-13 amends Sections 5.16.1.A, 5.16.2.A, 5.16.2.B, 5.16.3.J, 5.16.3.P, 5.16.4.B, 5.16.6.C, 5.16.6.G, and repeals and replaces Section 5.19 Of Chapter 55 (Unified Development Code) of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor. The amendments will eliminate minimum vehicular parking requirements across the City, establish maximum vehicular parking limits in the TC1 Zoning District, and modify requirements and applicability for electric vehicle parking spaces.

 

The effective date of the Ordinance is 10 days after publication.
