Resolution to Approve the Employment Agreement with Milton Dohoney Jr. as City Administrator

Whereas, The Charter of the City of Ann Arbor requires that the City Council hire the City Administrator;
Whereas, On March 21, 2022, by resolution the City Council directed that the Mayor negotiate a proposed employment agreement with Milton Dohoney Jr. and bring this agreement back to the City Council for approval;
Whereas, The Mayor has completed the negotiation process and now brings forward the attached agreement for approval by the City Council; and
Whereas, Milton Dohoney Jr. is prepared to sign the attached employment agreement and begin immediately as the permanent City Administrator;
RESOLVED, That the attached employment agreement with Milton Dohoney Jr. is approved and the Mayor, City Clerk and City Attorney are authorized to sign the agreement.
