Memorandum
The two-year service agreement with Emergent Health Partners (EHP) provides fire department dispatching services for FY2023 and FY2024.

EHP has provided dispatching services for the Ann Arbor Fire Department since July 1, 2009. While the City of Ann Arbor is continuing to explore best value for public safety dispatching, there is not a readily available alternative to EHP.

EHP complies with the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funds for dispatching services shall be budgeted in the Fire Department General Fund budget in FY2023 and FY2024.

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor is continuing to explore best value for public safety dispatching, there is not a readily available alternative to EHP;

Whereas, Sufficient funds shall be budgeted in the FY2023 Fire Department budget for dispatching services and the Fire Department will plan and budget for dispatch services in its FY2024 budget; and

Whereas, EHP complies with the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances;

RESOLVED, That City Council approve a two-year service agreement with Emergent Health Partners for dispatching and related services for a total not to exceed amount of $280,288.44;

RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to execute the agreement for services after approval as to substance by the City Administrator and approval as to form by the City Attorney; and
