Memorandum
Attached for your consideration is a resolution to approve a request from the Mayor's Office to close the following streets to facilitate the staging of the 21st Annual Mayor's Green Fair on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.:

? S. Main Street from William Street to Huron Street
? Liberty Street from S. Ashley Street to S. Fourth Avenue
? Washington Street from S. Ashley Street to S. Fourth Avenue (except for traffic entering or exiting the Washington Street Parking Structure)
? Library Lane / Library Lot


The event itself will be conducted from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The extended time for the requested street closure will facilitate set up and take down activities related to the event.

The sponsor, the Mayor's Office, will ensure that access to the Washington Street parking structure is maintained during the event. In addition, the sponsor will coordinate the bagging of parking meters with the DDA and Republic Parking.

Notification of the street closings will be provided through the City's website.

The event has been coordinated with all relevant City service areas for the purposes of traffic control and for the protection of the health and safety of the participants and the general public.
