Resolution to Approve the Moving to Work Annual Contribution Contract Amendment
Memorandum
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has selected the Ann Arbor Housing Commission (MI064) to participate in the Move to Work (MTW) Demonstration Expansion, to design and test new ways of providing housing assistance and services to low-income households;
To complete the Ann Arbor Housing Commission’s entry into the MTW Demonstration Expansion program, the AAHC must fully execute the MTW ACC Amendment to the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Annual Contributions Contracts;
The draft MTW ACC Amendment is attached and it is recommended that the Board approve the ACC amendment.

WHEREAS, The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has selected the Ann Arbor Housing Commission (MI064) to participate in the Move to Work (MTW) Demonstration Expansion, to design and test new ways of providing housing assistance and services to low-income households; and
WHEREAS, To complete the Ann Arbor Housing Commission’s entry into the MTW Demonstration Expansion program, the AAHC must fully execute the MTW ACC Amendment to the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Annual Contributions Contracts; and
RESOLVED, The Ann Arbor Housing Commission Board of Commissioners has examined and approved the MTW Annual Contributions Contract amendment as to form and content; and
RESOLVED, The AAHC Board authorizes and directs the Executive Director to execute any documents required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to execute the MTW ACC Amendment to the Annual Plan.
This resolution was adopted by a majority of AAHC board members on February 16, 2022 and signed in open session in authentication of its passage.
