Title
Resolution to Approve a Contribution Agreement with Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association Regarding the Replacement of a Sidewalk on Traver Boulevard between Lakehurst Lane and Nixon Road ($56,000.00)
Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a Contribution Agreement with Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association regarding the replacement of an existing asphalt pathway with a concrete sidewalk on the south side of Traver Boulevard between Lakehurst Lane and Nixon Road.

This spring, the Traver Lakes Condominium Association approached City staff about replacing the existing asphalt pathway on the south side of Traver Boulevard. The path was not scheduled for replacement in the immediate future, and the Association was interested in paying for the cost of resurfacing the path to accelerate the timeline. It was decided that the asphalt path would be replaced with a concrete sidewalk, which will allow for better and more regular maintenance by the City going forward.

The portion of the Traver Lakes contribution is the cost to resurface the asphalt pathway, calculated to be $56,000.00. This Contribution Agreement formalizes that agreement with the Traver Lakes Community Maintenance Association. The cost difference between this amount and the cost to replace the sidewalk with concrete will be borne by the City.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for the replacement of the existing asphalt path on Traver Boulevard will come from the Street, Bridge, and Sidewalk Millage; plus the contribution from the Traver Lakes Condominium Association.
