Resolution to Adopt Separation Agreement with Mr. Crawford

Body

Whereas, On July 20th, the City Council adopted a Resolution that directed “the City Attorney work to establish the details of the conclusion of Mr. Crawford’s employment as the City Administrator by the First Council meeting in August.”;

 

Whereas, The City Attorney has advised the City Council “on relevant details and any necessary agreements concerning the conclusion of Mr. Crawford’s employment as City Administrator” as required by Council Resolution;

 

Whereas, The attached Separation Agreement is in the interest of the City and Mr. Crawford to effect the appropriate transition under the circumstances; and

 

Whereas, Mr. Crawford, through his attorney, has confirmed his intent to sign the Separation Agreement upon adoption of this Resolution by the City Council;

 

RESOLVED, The attached Separation Agreement is approved and the Mayor, the City Clerk, and the City Attorney shall sign the Agreement;

 

RESOLVED, That Craig Hupy shall be the Acting City Administrator until August 11, 2021;

 

RESOLVED, That John Fournier shall be the Acting City Administrator until August 16, 2021; and

 

RESOLVED, That the Council Administration Committee shall bring forward a plan for Interim City Administrator to the August 16, 2021 Council meeting.
