Resolution to Set an Ethics Rule 12 Hearing Regarding Complaint for Reprimand (7 Votes Required)

Whereas, A complaint for reprimand was filed with the Chair of the Administration Committee;
Whereas, The Council Administration Committee directed that a Report and Recommendation concerning the complaint be prepared for review by the Council Administration Committee;
Whereas, A report was prepared and reviewed by the Council Administration Committee on May 22, 2021; and
Whereas, The Council Administration Committee voted 4 to 1 to send the report to the City Council with an additional recommendation that the Council set a hearing and directed that a Resolution be prepared to this effect for the Council meeting on July 6, 2021 (report attached);
RESOLVED, That a hearing before Council be set on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 to review this report and complaint for reprimand under Council Ethics Rule 12(4)(d)(ii); and
RESOLVED, That the hearing be governed by the procedures set forth in Council Ethics 12 and that all actions be taken to effectuate this hearing.
