Resolution to Adopt the FY22 City Council Legislative Policy Agenda
Memorandum
The City Council Legislative Policy Agenda is a document that serves as statement of values for the City of Ann Arbor and provides policy guidance for City leaders and elected officials when engaging with state and federal policy makers. Resolution 19-214 - Resolution to Adopt the FY 2019-2020 City Council Legislative Policy Agenda was approved on May 6, 2019. The FY22 agenda was drafted by the Council Policy Agenda Committee and is provided to City Council for its adoption. This document is normally approved concurrently with the budget.

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor is positioned to exercise influence over the adoption of policies at the state and federal level that may have a significant impact on the quality of life of our citizens;
Whereas, The City’s efforts to influence these policies are much more effective when they are coordinated, when our city’s leadership and communication are strategically aligned, and when we work together and in common purpose; and
Whereas, The City’s Legislative Policy Agenda was drafted over four months of work from the Council Policy Agenda Committee and represents the most up-to-date thinking and priorities for the City of Ann Arbor.
RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Ann Arbor hereby adopts the FY22 Legislative Policy Agenda and directs the City Administrator to faithfully pursue its ends.
