Memorandum
The attached resolution authorizes the summary publication of Ordinance No. 21-12, which was approved by City Council on May 3, 2021. The City Charter allows summary publication of ordinances that are in excess of 500 words in length. Approval of this resolution will reduce the cost of publishing due to the size of the ordinance.

RESOLVED, That the publication of Ordinance No. 21-12 shall be made by the following summary:
Ordinance No. 21-12 amends Table 5.15-1, Table 5.15-2, Sections 5.33, 5.37.2.P, and 5.37.2.S of Chapter 55 (Unified Development Code) of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor. The Amendments establish Short Term Rentals as a permitted or accessory use in identified zoning districts, establishes nonconforming use provisions, and adds related definitions.
The effective date of the Ordinance is 10 days after publication.
