RESOLVED, That the City Council authorizes the City Attorney to fully resolve the case entitled Sarah Wimberly and Shallan Wimberly v City of Ann Arbor, David Ried, and James Burton, Eastern District Federal District Court Case No. 20-13341, with acceptance of a full release of all claims and dismissal of all claims with prejudice by the Plaintiffs and a payment by the City to each plaintiff an amount of $25,000. The City Attorney and City Administrator are authorized to sign such a settlement agreement and release, along with the Mayor and the Clerk. The City Attorney is authorized to sign any other documents needed to dismiss the case.
