Title

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 55 (Zoning) of 1.55 Acres from TWP (Township District) to R1A (Single-Family Dwelling District), 2511 Newport Road (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 9 Yeas and 0 Nays) (ORD-21-04)

Memorandum

Approval of this ordinance will zone this 1.55 acre parcel from TWP to R1A to allow access to City utilities.  The site was recently annexed into the City, in July of 2020 as notified by the Secretary of State to the City Clerk. 

 

The City Planning Commission determined that the proposed zoning is consistent with the adjacent zoning, the surrounding land uses, and the City's Master Plan and recommended approval of the request at its meeting on January 7, 2020.
