Resolution to Approve a Purchase Order for Annual Maintenance and Support of Assetic Predictor Software to Assetic, Inc. for FY2020 and FY 2021 ($50,000.00 Annually)
Memorandum
Attached for your review and consideration is a resolution to approve a purchase order in the amount of $50,000.00 annually to Assetic, Inc. for the renewal of Assetic Predictor Software annual maintenance and support for FY2020 and FY2021.

In 2016, the City embarked on an effort to establish a strategic and proactive plan for management of the City's Sanitary and Stormwater Systems that:

* ?Enabled staff to quickly assess existing conditions of assets in each system
* ?Optimized existing operations and maintenance procedures
* ?Optimized use of available capital investment dollars
* ?Identified resource needs (e.g., equipment, staffing, funding, technology)

The completed Asset Management Plans will enabled staff to deal with the multiple objectives that public works systems and services must achieve, while addressing the interests of diverse stakeholders with varied views on what comprises good public works performance.

Assetic Predictor is a prediction modeling and decision support tool for long-term planning of infrastructure assets. The tool enables the City to optimize service level outcomes and capital & maintenance expenditures. The software was first used as part of the recent Stormwater, Sanitary Sewer Asset Management Project and the City desires to renew the license for continued use on the City's asset management effort.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: This expenditure is planned and budgeted in the approved FY2020 and FY 2021 Systems Planning Unit budget. Thereafter, the software costs will be included in IT charges paid by Public Services.

Assetic, Inc. complies with the requirements of the City's Non-discrimination and Living Wage Ordinances.
